This stunning Fine Silver (99.9%) coin was released by the Royal Australian Mint (RAM) as a coloured depiction of our galaxy - The Milky Way. It is part of their Earth and Beyond series. The coin is uniquely domed shaped (convex).
The Non-circulating legal tender (NCLT) coin is issued in a capsule and in a plush case, all set inside a beautiful coloured themed shipper. On a clear night you're likely to see the Milky Way appearing as a hazy band of white light stretching across the sky. With the use of a telescope, Italian Astronomer Galileo discovered that the Milky Way actually consists of billions of stars and is home to our Solar System.Finish: Uncirculated Proof (Pad printed) Domed. 1 x'Certificate of Authenticity' (COA).
