999 fine silver original 2012 bitcoin proof piece from AOCS in plastic capsule. These coins were produced in the early days of Bitcoin, and the die cracked on the first run next to the "c" in the word "cryptocurrency, " producing only a few hundred without flaws out of the roughly 1,000 that were produced. This makes them immensely more rare and valuable. In the last picture, you can see an example of the die crack between the C and R in the word "cryptocurrencies" on the top left of the face of the coin from an example of one of the roughly 700 that were cast with the flaw. This design with the QR code linking to the current value of Bitcoin has been copied by several other mints in the years since 2012, but these rounds are the original 2012 strikes that inspired the others.
